Frank's professional odyssey commenced at Mercedes-AMG, followed by a tenure at Audi, before he made a significant move to McKinsey & Company in 2009. His leadership roles have spanned across continents, from Asia-Pacific to Europe and the Americas, showcasing his global perspective and versatile management skills. In 2011, Frank delved into the aerospace sector as a manager of Landing Gear Systems and North America operations at Liebherr Aerospace, further broadening his technical and managerial prowess.

Joining HELLA in 2014, Frank ascended through various leadership positions in China, the U.S./Mexico, and Germany, culminating in his role as CEO of HELLA Lighting (Management Board). His leadership journey continued as he became the EVP of FORVIA’s Seating business group post the 2022 combination of Faurecia and HELLA, where he oversaw a team of 50,000 Forvians across 77 production sites worldwide. His role at FORVIA, the world's 7th largest technological automotive supplier, exemplifies his capability to manage and expand large-scale, high-tech operations. In March 2024, Frank embarked on a new chapter in his illustrious career by assuming the role of CEO at Automotive Lighting, a subsidiary of Marelli. Marelli, renowned for its innovative solutions in the automotive sector, is backed by the global investment firm KKR, signifying its strategic importance and financial robustness.

At Essentia Ventures, Frank's role is pivotal. As a Co-Founder and Venture Partner, he contributes not only his extensive industry knowledge but also his remarkable experience in managing significant revenues and large teams. His expertise in the automotive and industrial sectors is invaluable to Essentia Ventures, providing deep insights and strategic guidance in our investment decisions.

Frank, holds a Ph.D. in Automotive Engineering. Among others, he attended and received degrees from the University of Stuttgart and Columbia University. Frank is an integral part of a team that is uniquely structured to stay closely connected to the industries we invest in.
